Dream Flights Returns Veterans to the Sky

This past May, we were thrilled to partner with Nevada-based nonprofit Dream Flights to provide military veterans in our community with the chance to participate in a 20-minute flight onboard restored World War II era planes. Flights departed the Camarillo airport where eight veterans were brought back to their days of soaring through the skies in open-cockpit biplanes. These individuals received a signed Dream Flights baseball hat, along with a certificate and a photo of them sitting in the plane’s cockpit.

Our very own Margie Veis, General Manager of Varenita, had the following to say:

“We are proud to partner with Dream Flights and offer these military veterans an opportunity to relive their youth.”
